iron and stone, galleria vittorio emanuele II, milan, 1998

The Galleria is so immense and wondrous; it is difficult to capture in a single photograph. I tried to reduce it down to what made it interesting to me: stone, iron, and glass. These are its basic physical elements, so I tried to capture that with this photograph, yet get in close enough so you could see the datail within each.

It's also another picture of the "sky". I created this composition primarily trying to create interesting shapes with the blue of the glass. Lens: 200mm
