A closeup of the bench at Bermondsey station reveals the great attention to detail and integration with the design of the station. Only the seats at the edge have the armrest. The ball at the end I found to be extremely ergonomic as your hand naturally falls around it, especially as you push up to stand. Although all hard, sitting here was very comfortable, including the curved slope of the wall used as a backrest and the slope of the seat which didn't dig into your legs. This is one of my favourite pictures.
