Bermondsey station is on the modern part of the Jubilee line. This photograph showcases the different metallic materials used. The wall on the left looks like chain mill, a curious choice but it contrasts well with the flat sleek metals used throughout the rest of the station. I wonder if the curvature of the wall presented lots of challenges for using metal? It invoked images of being in a steel tanker or a futuristic submarine.
